The New Burlesque – photos By Cesare Cicardini

A New York, Londra, Parigi e ora anche in Italia la passione del burlesque sta richiamando un numero sempre più elevato di appassionati e spettatori.
Portato alla ribalta da Dita Von Teese, il burlesque è molto piu’ che uno spettacolo, e’ un’arte che esprime malizia, eleganza ed ironia, curata in tutti i minimi dettagli.
Sensualità, erotismo, seduzione, piume di struzzo e paillettes, unite allo swing e alla sfrenata passione per il vintage, fanno del burlesque la nuova moda by night più trendy e esclusiva del momento.
Ed è proprio in quest’atmosfera, a Milano, che il fotografo Cesare Cicardini ha iniziato a realizzare in esclusiva ritratti delle artiste burlesque provenienti da tutto il mondo. Il progetto nel 2009 ha già ottenuto due menzioni d’onore presso il  » Prix de la Photographie » di Parigi e l’International Photography Award.
Questi ritratti verranno raccolti nella mostra “ The New Burlesque ”, curata da Denis Curti e Claudio Composti, dal 26 febbraio al 13 marzo 2010 a Milano presso la nuova galleria d’arte mc2gallery.
La serata inaugurale prevede una performance dal vivo di due artiste burlesque a cura della Voodoo De Luxe Burlesque Agency.
